Cochran Memorial Hospital (CMH) determines its standard charges for patient services with the use of a chargemaster.
A chargemaster is a list of charges for the components that go into every patient’s bill. The rates provided here are the baseline rates for the services provided at this
hospital/clinic.
The standard charges listed in the attached files do not necessarily reflect what you may pay. Plans such as Medicare and Medicaid do not pay the chargemaster rate, they have their
own set rates with which hospital are obligated to accept. Commercial insurance payments are based on contract negotiations and may or may not reflect CMH or MRHC's standard charges.
Patients without commercial or government insurance are encouraged to contact our business office before obtaining a procedure to discuss charges, alternative pricing, and
payment terms.
